Minister McCallum Approves New Search and Rescue Initiatives

The Honourable John McCallum, Minister of National Defence and Lead Minister for Search and Rescue, has approved search and rescue projects for 2003-2004. The projects will be funded from the New Search and Rescue Initiatives Fund, managed by the National Search and Rescue Secretariat.

Thanks to this years NIF Program, CCGA Pacific will benefit from a contribution of $142,890 over a three year period to implement a SAR prevention program targeted at children.
